Sustainability

No lectures.
Just less waste.

Heaped exists because good food gets thrown out for no good reason. Fixing that is the whole point — so we don't need to dress it up.

The simple version

Food that was already made, eaten instead of binned.

Every day, buffets cook more than gets eaten. Most of what's left goes in the bin at close — not because anything's wrong with it, but because service ended.

What this actually does

Four plain truths.

We don't ask for more

Venues cook for their guests, not for us. Heaped only ever offers what's already on the line — no extra production, no extra footprint. We're the last stop, not a new order.

Real food, real plates

This isn't compost or animal feed as an afterthought. It's a hot meal that feeds a person tonight. The most useful thing you can do with good food is eat it.

Fresh, and cooked

We only offer hot, cooked food while it's still safe — so a box is a proper meal, not a gamble. Safe food is food that doesn't get wasted twice.

One simple box

A single standard container keeps things fair and simple — no fleets of packaging, no fuss. You fill it high and take it home.

Straight up

We're not going to oversell it.

A box of buffet food won't save the planet, and we're not going to pretend it will. What it does is smaller and truer: it turns food that was heading for the bin into someone's dinner, and puts a bit back in a kitchen's pocket for doing the right thing.

Small, real, repeatable. We'd rather tell you that plainly than wrap it in buzzwords.

For venues

A story worth telling.

If you run a venue, cutting waste isn't just good sense — it's something your guests and your board actually care about. Heaped gives you a simple, measurable way to show it, without changing how your kitchen runs.
